Dylan Southern is a director and writer working across documentary and narrative.
Known for his music documentaries including the grammy nominated No Distance Left to Run, Shut Up and Play the Hits, Meet Me in the Bathroom and the forthcoming Oasis reunion documentary.
His first narrative feature was 2025’s The Thing with Feathers, an adaptation of Max Porter’s beloved, award winning novella Grief is the thing with Feathers. A lifelong comics fan, Dylan worked closely with comics creator Lucy Sullivan on the project.
