Bill Morrison

Bill Morrison is best known for his work on The Simpsons and Futurama as Editor, writer, and artist at Matt Groening’s Bongo Comics. He began his career as an illustrator, painting dozens of movie posters including many for Walt Disney Pictures, such as The Little Mermaid, Bambi, Peter Pan, Cinderella, The Prince and the Pauper, and The Jungle Book. In addition to his publishing work at Bongo, Bill has created thousands of Simpsons and Futurama drawings for T-shirts, video games, posters, toy packaging, books, calendars, limited edition prints, etc.

In 2018, Bill wrote and drew the official graphic novel adaptation of The Beatles Yellow Submarine in time for the 50th anniversary of that celebrated film. That was a busy year, as he also filled Harvey Kurtzman’s old job, Executive Editor of MAD Magazine.

He is currently living near Detroit, Michigan where he continues to create art for Simpsons merchandise and various comic book projects, while also teaching animation and comics classes at his alma mater, The College for Creative Studies.
