David Lumsden is a writer/director of award-winning short films, features, commercials and music videos.
His first graphic novel BOAT, a critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic graphic novel series, launched at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in 2023. The graphic novel was based on his Scottish BAFTA award winning short film Boat that released in 2015.
His follow up graphic novel, a Scottish folk horror story, OUT THERE was released in 2024. He is currently developing graphic novel, television, and feature projects whilst lecturing as a directing tutor at the Screen Academy in Edinburgh.
