Joanna Lorho
Joanna Lorho was born in 1983 in Brittany. She has lived in Brussels since 2004 and has taught at ERG (École de Recherche Graphique) since 2010. Her practice oscillates between music, animation, and drawing through various projects and objects visible on her website.
In 2024, her first children's book, Le hibou abasourdi (The Mixed-up Owl), was published by La Pastèque, in collaboration with screenwriter Marzena Sowa. An American version, was released in July 2025 by Astra Books.
In the world of graphic novels, after several collaborations with the Brussels-based publisher L'Employé·e du Moi, her first graphic novel, À travers la nuit (Through the Night), was published in September 2025.
