Khaled Jarada is a visual artist and illustrator from Gaza City, where he earned a BA in Multimedia. He has published numerous children's and youth books with a wide variety of publishing houses. He has also participated in numerous local and international art exhibitions.
In 2021, Khaled was selected for an artist residency at the Spanish Academy in Rome. Prior to this, in 2020, he received a grant from the French Institute for his Pandemic Diaries project. He also completed a residency at the Shbabek Art Center in Gaza. Khaled is interested in Expressionism, and his work focuses primarily on figures, the study of the human body and psychological impact, as well as contemporary issues.
