Belgian-Swiss Léonie Bischoff, born in Geneva in 1981, studied comics at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. She published in anthologies before creating full-length graphic novels, notably for Casterman. She gained wider recognition with the graphic novels Anaïs Nin sur la mer des mensonges (Anaïs Nin, A Sea of Lies) and La longue marche des dindes (The Long March of the Turkeys). She is a member of Atelier Mille, a collective of authors based in Brussels.
