Luke McGarry is an illustrator, cartoonist, animator and designer from Manchester, UK, now based in Los Angeles. Three times NCS Illustrator of the Year and recipient of the Silver T-Square Award, his clients include MAD, Viz, Playboy, The New Yorker, The Hollywood Reporter, The Los Angeles Times, Airbnb, VISA, Google, Lyft and Vans. He works extensively in the music business, collaborating with Jack Black and Tenacious D, Zedd, Coachella, Mac Demarco, Eels, Universal Music Group and Epitaph Recordsamong others. His first book, “Keep It Down Up There,” was released by Chronicle Books in 2024. Away from cartooning, he sings, plays bass and twiddles knobs as one half of the band Pop Noir.
