Mary Talbot

Mary Talbot’s most recent graphic biographies, in collaboration with Bryan Talbot, are Lo! An Amazon! The Interesting Narrative of The Life of Mary Wollstonecraft (2026) and Armed with Madness: The Surreal Life of Leonora Carrington (2023). Her first, Dotter of her Father's Eyes (with Bryan Talbot), won the 2012 Costa Biography Award. Mary was formerly Visiting Professor of Graphic Narrative at Lancaster University. She is one of the three founder patrons of the Lakes International Comic Arts Festival.
