Mike is a former journalist, who decided he wanted to draw comics and cartoons for a living. Instead of linking words he started linking lines. Of course being a writer since 2003, with a BA in English Literature from the University of Damascus in Syria, helped him in creating the stories and characters that he has been working with; such as Anna Cosmonauta, Serene of Solitude, Graffbot and Geisha L.O.V.E.
Somewhere along the line he got into graffiti and since then his motto has been "I spray therefore I am!" He is known for spraying paper boats and paper planes in his city Amman.
He is the founder of F.A.D.A. 317, a studio for comics, cartoons and graffiti among other oddities. When he is not moonlighting as a comic & graffiti artist, he is a radio disc jockey and news presenter - since 2003.
In 2018 he founded the comics collective Fanzeen, which is now at issue 7. Since the establishing of his studio, he has held numerous shows that revolve around comics, manga and anime with so many amazing local, regional and international artists. He is supported by his Mrs. and two amazing kids, who all believe in his madness.
He is quite proud of Issue 7, Qader / Qadera that was made possible thanks to Alaa Qattam from the British Council and other amazing individuals, who guided comics artists into drawing inspiration from the real lives of disabled individuals.
